Upstream fixed a real bug found while building Ogre3D through vintner: toolrelay.exe's mt.exe detection compared the whole path against "mt.exe" instead of just the filename, since it only checked for a backslash separator on a path that actually arrives with forward slashes - so the CMake-compatibility exit-code translation this whole helper exists for had never actually fired.
